Would it mess with anyone's future plans if I created an entire sublevel filled with water, to power the drowning chambe... umm... showers... that I'll be installing a couple levels below it?

As long as it doesn't literally fill the ENTIRE sublevel, I'm OK with that. Also, remember that we supposedly have Happy Fun Stuff SOMEWHERE on the map

What qualifies as an entire sublevel? Also, crowbeard was looking at running a waterfall through the dining room so if you were to have 'showers' you could use the excess water for the waterfall. If you're really into conservation you could set it up so the runoff feeds into a underground towercap farm.

Well, runoff from these "showers" might contain a noble corpse or 3... You know, in case they slip, or ... forget... to open the locked drain-hatch...

I suggest you use vertical/horizontal bars then to keep all that stuff from being lost in the pipeworks.
